Hi I’m Rosie! Also known as rosiesdva.
Rosie – my name
S – my middle initial
DVA – domestic violence and abuse

I was in a relationship for over 7 years and didn’t realise it was abuse. It only clicked when post separation abuse happened including physical abuse.

After I left in 2019, I had been diagnosed with anxiety, depression and ocd. I couldn’t leave the front door and stopped doing things I enjoyed.

I am still to this day experiencing financial abuse where my joint property is in repossession due to no fault of my own.

I decided that I wanted to bring change. I entered a competition in 2021 with an idea of “a Fairer Financial Future for Sufferers and Survivors of Domestic Abuse”. I ended up winning that competition in October 2021 and hold the worldwide title, being the first UK female to win.

Since then, I raise awareness on social media, I do talks, blogs, webinars, podcasts and anything that I can do to help!
